Our Story

Big Flavors,
Built Different

Big Guy's Custom Barbeque wasn't born in a boardroom — it was born at a backyard pit, late on a Sunday afternoon, when someone decided that the best BBQ in El Granada deserved a permanent home.

We smoke low and slow, using real hardwood and a rub recipe that's been refined over years, not months. No shortcuts. No rush. Just meat, smoke, and patience doing what they do best.

Whether you're grabbing a quick plate of ribs on your way home or planning a catered event for the whole neighborhood, we treat every order like it's for someone special — because to us, it is.

What People Say

Loved by Locals

"Best BBQ in the area, hands down. The brisket is incredible — smoky, tender, and full of flavor. My family drives here just for this."

— Local Customer

"We had Big Guy's cater our reunion and everyone was asking where we found them. The ribs were out of this world — my kids are still talking about them."

— Local Customer

"Finally, a smokehouse that actually takes its time. You can taste the difference in every bite. The mac and cheese is dangerously good too."
